The BIA has a helpful guide titled: "A Guide to Tracing American Indian & Alaska Native Ancestry"

An excellent resource is the book, “Everything You Wanted to Know About Indians But Were Afraid to Ask”, by Anton Treuer.

draft a land acknowledgement or answer cultural research questions ?

No.

Native tribes, communities, and peoples are not a monolith. There are 574 federally recognized Indian tribes (American Indian and Alaska Native). This number does not include historic or state recognized tribes, nor does it include Native Hawaiians. Each tribe has their own history, government, traditions and customs.

You need to do the work to find the appropriate people in your area.
